Plasma arc melter

  • Allows development and production of aluminum, molybdenum, nickel, steel, titanium, zirconium, etc. alloys.
  • Billet production : Diamenter of 100 or 250 mm, and 1200 mm (max) in length (Diameter of 4 or 10 inches and 48 inches long.
  • Casting capacity of 1,5 liters.

Allow the production of alloys containing high amount of refractory metals.

ProCAST thermodynamic casting simulation

Advanced performance software simulating the casting and solidification parameters of metals as well as the distortions and stresses during the casting process. In addition to conventional casting methodologies (gravity, roll-over, low pressure, die casting), CMQ houses an investment casting platform and a thermodynamics database for ferrous alloys for microstructure and mechanical property simulations and predictions.

Solicast modeling program

Optimization software predicting mould filling and solidification responses. Simulates gravity, roll-over, and low pressure casting parameters. The OPTICast module can also automatically optize criteria according to specific conditions (e.g. maximize yield while minimizing porosity).
